THEOCHARIS MARIA L (ΘΕΟΧΑΡΗΣ ΜΑΡΙΑ Λ)
-Karnesis-Lalousis NE (2017-2021)
current KOTAIX for Naviera Austral
Built in 2017 (age 7). Was registered in Piraeus. Current line: None in Greece, sold to Naviera Austral for service in Chile
The double-ended ferry THEOCHARIS MARIA L was built in 2017 in Greece, for the Greek company Karnesis-Lalousis NE (which later became known as Thassos Seaways in 2022). She was built a year after her sister ship and fleetmate, namely the IOANNIS SOPHIA K. She was deployed on the Perama-Salamina line. In 2021 she was sold to the Chilean company Somarco and she was renamed KOTAIX. She was then transferred to the Chilean company Naviera Armas in 2022, and she was deployed later that year on the Chaitén-Castro line on the Corcovado Gulf.
