ORPHEAS (ΟΡΦΕΑΣ)
-Santorini Boatmen Union
Built in 2009 (age 15). Registered in Santorini. Current line: Santorini-Nea Kameni-Palaia Kameni
The small high speed boat ORPHEAS was built in 2009 in Greece for the Santorini Boatmen Union, with whom she has spent her entire career. She was the fourth and final fast and modern small passenger ship ordered by her company between 2007 and 2009, following the delivery of her three sister ships (namely the CAPTAIN KOULIS, the YPAPANTI and the NEFELI). The ship has primarily served as a tour boat between Santorini and the volcanic islands of Nea Kameni and Palaia Kameni, along with transporting cruise ship passengers on the island. She is the second fastest ship of her company, right after her sister ship, namely the NEFELI.
