ex-ORION III (ΩΡΙΩΝ ΙΙΙ) for Farmakoris-Villiotis NE (2018-2023)

Built in 2018 (age 6). Registered in Piraeus. Current line: Keramoti-Thassos

The double-ended ferry AERIA was ordered in 2017 as the ORION III by the Greek company Farmakoris-Villiotis NE, right after her sister ship and former fleetmate, namely the ORION II, was sold to the Mexican company Ultramar during her own construction. She was completed in Greece in 2018, and was inserted on the Perama-Salamina line. In 2019 she was deployed on the Megara-Salamina line, before heading back to the Perama-Salamina line in 2020. In 2021 she was deployed on the Rion-Antirrion line, while in 2022 she returned to the Perama-Salamina line. In late 2023, the ORION III was sold to Thassos Ferries and she was renamed AERIA. She began service on the Keramoti-Thassos line in 2024.
