The landing craft FANEROMENI POROU IV was ordered in 2014 by the Greek company VR Ferries (which is based in Poros) as a replacement ship for the FANEROMENI POROU III, which had been sold to the Cameroonian company BIR in that same year. She was completed in 2015 in Greece and she was deployed on the Galatas Troizinias-Poros line, thus connecting the latter island with the Peloponnese. Occasionally, she also makes trips transporting trucks containing fuel and combustibles from Poros to Aegina.
