ANO CHORA II (ΑΝΩ ΧΩΡΑ ΙΙ)

-Kerkyra Lines

Built in 2004 (age 20). Registered in Piraeus. Current line: Igoumenitsa-Corfu

The double-ended ferry ANO CHORA II was built in 2004 in Greece for the Greek company 2way Ferries, owned by the Papaïoannidis family. She was built in order to replace the double-ended ferry ANO CHORA EXPRESS, which was built in 2001 and had been sold to the Croatian company Jadrolonija in 2003. She began service on the Rion-Antirrion line, though she only stayed one season there, due to the completion of the construction of the Rion-Antirrion Bridge. As a result, she was deployed on the Igoumenitsa-Corfu line on the Ionian Sea in 2005, where she has since been remaining. After having previously operated under the Kerkyra Ferries joint venture, which included 2way Ferries and Kerkyra Lines, she went on to join the latter in 2023.
